Plan Basics
Step 1 - Name, leverage, and phases
Plan Basics
Step 1 of plan configuration covers the fundamental settings: plan name, leverage, and phase structure. These are the foundation of your challenge.
Plan Name
Choose a clear, descriptive name:
- Good: "50K Two-Phase Challenge"
- Good: "100K Instant Funding"
- Bad: "Plan 1" (not descriptive)
The plan name is internal - you'll use different marketing names for products.
Leverage
Set the maximum leverage traders can use:
- 1:30 - Conservative, lower risk
- 1:50 - Moderate, common for forex
- 1:100 - Aggressive, higher risk
- 1:200 - Very aggressive
Higher leverage = higher risk for both trader and firm.
Phase Structure
Define how many phases traders must pass:
Two-Phase Structure
Most common setup:
- Phase 1 - First evaluation
- Phase 2 - Second evaluation
- Funded - Live trading
One-Phase Structure
Faster path:
- Phase 1 - Single evaluation
- Funded - Live trading
Three-Phase Structure
More rigorous:
- Phase 1 - First evaluation
- Phase 2 - Second evaluation
- Phase 3 - Third evaluation
- Funded - Live trading
Instant Funding
No evaluation:
- Funded - Direct to live trading
Phase Names
Customize phase names if desired:
- Default: "Phase 1", "Phase 2", "Funded"
- Custom: "Qualification", "Verification", "Pro Trader"
Account Size
Set the starting balance:
- $5,000
- $10,000
- $25,000
- $50,000
- $100,000
- $200,000
- Custom amount
This is the balance traders start with in each phase.
Currency
Choose the account currency:
- USD (most common)
- EUR
- GBP
- Other currencies
All calculations (profit targets, drawdowns) will be in this currency.
